Climbing for All is an informative one day course designed to give you the initial skills to instruct disabled people in climbing.
The course is split into half day theory and half day practical. Theory covers a number of subjects including Appropriate/Inappropriate Language, Types of Disability, Models of Disability. The practical covers climbing environments, side supported climbing, vertical hoists and wheelchair abseiling. No prior knowledge of disability is required. Course is AFA and AMI endorsed.
This is an MTA recognised course contributing 1 CPD point. Course attendees must be members of MTA to receive certificate and CPD point.
