Happy New Year from the London and South East Area team!
Before you get stuck in to your resolutions (these include climbing and walking we hope), the L&SE area is holding its AGM on the evening of Wednesday January 16th.
This is the annual opportunity for you to elect your representatives, and crucially for you to tell them what you want out of the coming year from them and the BMC - be it more lectures, an outdoor meet, action on an access or a club issue, or whatever. It's also a chance for you to get involved: the BMC is a volunteer led organisation and we'd love your help.
The event is held at the Alpine Club HQ at 55 Charlotte Road (postcode for your smartphone: EC2A 3QF), a short walk from Old Street tube. It starts at 7:30pm, but there'll be someone there from 6:30 so you can come straight after work for a beer and a chat. There's a cash bar, and free pizza will be provided!
There’s no need to register or tell anyone you’re coming: just turn up.
