The BMC London & South East Area Meeting takes place on Wednesday 11 September, at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm for drinks), at The Alpine Club in London.
The Area Meetings are your way as a BMC member to keep up to date on what we are doing for you, and for you to influence the BMC’s work.
After the meeting (which usually lasts an hour or so), there will be free pizza and a bar (you buy your own beer).
There’s no need to register or tell anyone you’re coming: just turn up.
We also have a speaker arranged; given the recent change in outdoor conditions, it is quite fitting to have Mark Rogers from the Met Office delivering a talk to develop our understanding of the weather and how we can use what services are available when heading outdoors.
