The Black Pudding Team go burgers...and the odd fried slice! The first ever "WiltonFest" will take place over the weekend of 14-15 September.
WiltonFest is a celebration of the fantastic climbing that the Wilton Quarries have to offer. Base in the BMC's own Wilton 1, on Saturday there will be free tea/coffee all day, a free BBQ in the evening, and a wonderful prize raffle…and lots of climbing at the BMC's premier owned crag!
There will also prizes for placing the most gear in 3 metres (Lancashire has gone metric!) and for the worst excuse from a sport climber trying to place trad gear.
Come along, meet new people, camp over in Wilton and enjoy some more climbing on Sunday.
Many local climbers will be on hand to point the out-of-towners at the best in 3-star routes. So you can see it will be a fantastic weekend.
