The BMC Leading Ladder is a fun lead climbing competition running at 28 UK walls from 2 November 2013 to 23 February 2014. Taking part is the ideal way to get fit, and stay fit, during the indoor winter season.

The BMC Leading Ladder will be visiting Craggy Island in Surrey 8 to 23 Febuary 2014. Ten BMC Leading Ladder routes will be set ranging from F5+ to 8a.

The BMC (British Mountaineering Council) is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers, including ski-mountaineers.
