The September meeting of the BMC Midlands Area will be held at the Old Edwardian's Sports Club in Solihull on Wednesday 10 September 2014, starting at 8.00pm, and includes a free lecture by Nick Colton.
Come along to our quarterly gathering of Midlands climbers and walkers. The evening includes a discussion of local issues, a bar, food and slideshow, so it should be a good night out.
Nick Colton is the Deputy CEO of the BMC and has an impressive record of climbing hard on rock and in the Alps; he is best known for the Colton/MacIntyre route on the Grandes Jorasses and the Colton/Leach route on Mount Huntingdon in Alaska. Nick’s presentation will be entitled ‘Alpine Experiences’.

All are welcome. Entry is FREE, food will be provided, and the club has a licensed bar.
