A Life on The Edge: Nominated for the Piolet D'Or for his team’s courageous first ascent of one of the steepest and most difficult alpine routes in the world - the north face of Changabang. A born raconteur, Andy will share his story, from miner to pioneering mountaineer, including his very latest adventures.

Followed by the first London screening of the Award Winning Film 'Distilled' introduced by the filmmakers. Cave’s fascinating story of a life in the mountains is combined with dramatic footage of Andy climbing some of Scotland's classic and most challenging winter routes.

The film journeys through the dramatic landscape of Scottish mountains in winter, reminding us how pristine and wild they really are.

Distilled; like a good single malt drunk by the fireside, leaves the viewer with a warm glow inside. The audience will be invited to a Q&A session following the film.

Hot Aches Productions would like to thank; Andy Cave for donating a personal climbing lesson as a raffle prize for the event sponsors - Glenfiddich who are hosting a Whisky Tasting of their 15 year old Malt on the evening - and Lowe Alpine, Ellis Brigham and Jagged Globe who will be raffling some great prizes on the evening.

Winner of six literary prizes, Author Andy Cave will be signing his books at the event.

The event will start at 7pm with the bar open from 6:30pm onwards.
