The BMC Peak Area Meeting will take place on Wednesday 9 April 2014, starting at 7.30pm, at The Maynard, Grindleford.
Come along to our quarterly gathering of Peak climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC.
On the agenda: an update, from Niall Grimes on the BMC Peak Limestone guidebook; news from Will Harris, newly appointed BMC regional development officer on his plans, including a Stanage Festival; and an important access update from Henry Folkard.
Want to pick up some tips for improving your climbing from one of the world's leading female boulderers? We've got GB Bouldering Team member and BMC Vice-President nominee Mina Leslie-Wujastyk talking on "Self Efficacy in Climbing & Mental Strategies for Success". Mina will also be showing a short film of her climbing Unfamiliar (E7) at Stanage, which will have been premiered only a few days before the meeting.
