Are you ready for your alpine adventures? Discover the essential skills at a BMC Alpine Lecture.

Sponsored by Berghaus the BMC Alpine Lecture will be taking place at Leeds Metropolitan University 19:30 on Thursday 8 May.

CONTENT

With the excellent line up of Tim Neill (British Mountain Guide)and Rob Greenwood (Alpinist) these skill lectures are set to inspire.  Tim and Rob will cover: best areas to visit; glacier travel; weather; huts & bivis; avalanche awareness; route selection; and the dark art of moving together.

WHO ARE THEY FOR?

As well as being for people at the start of their alpine career; they are also a great refresher for people who are planning an alpine trip after a few years break. 

TICKETS

Tickets cost £5 BMC members and £7 non-members, and can be purchased on the door.
