The BMC South West Area Meeting will take place at The Hawkins Arms, Zelah, on Saturday 17 May 2014, starting at 7.00pm.
Come along to our quarterly gathering of South West climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC.
Discussions will include proposals for how Cornwall can more easily have a voice within the BMC South West Area Meeting framework, preliminary discussion on fixed gear on the areas not covered by the present moratorium in West Cornwall, further Installation of abseil chains at popular locations on the North Culm Coast, and plans for the BMC Cornish Climbing Festival, to be held in July at Bosigran.
All are welcome; the BMC will provide food.
Zelah is a small village just off the A30 between the Carnon Downs roundabout and Chiverton Cross, approximately 5km north of Truro.
