The 206th meeting of the BMC Yorkshire Area will be held in the Garden Room at The Wheatley Arms in Ben Rhydding on Monday 1 December 2014, starting at 7.00pm
Come along to our quarterly gathering of Yorkshire climbers and walkers, to get involved in the work of the BMC.
The area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in Yorkshire as well as the rest of the country.
In addition to our quarterly meeting and area AGM, we’ve got BMC Deputy CEO Nick Colton talking about his ‘Alpine Experiences’. Nick has an impressive record of climbing hard on rock and in the Alps; he is best known for the Colton/MacIntyre route on the Grandes Jorasses and the Colton/Leach route on Mount Huntingdon in Alaska.
Copies of the new Yorkshire Gritstone Vol 2 guidebook will be available at the meeting for the special one-off price of £20 (RRP £24); copies of Vol 1 will be available too.
All are welcome. Food will be provided.
Please note the earlier start time to allow for the AGM.
