WiltonFest 2014 follows on from the hugely successful first event held last year, which saw over 100 climbers coming along on the day.
We’ll be setting up a basecamp area in the BMC-owned Wilton 1 Quarry on Saturday 6 September, with free brews throughout the day and knowledgeable locals to point any Wilton newcomers at the best lines. Then later on it’s time to fire up the BBQ, crack open the beers, hand out raffle prizes and have a good chinwag as the sun goes down. After this, there will be an informal area meeting where anyone can raise any local issues.
Climbers are free to camp in the quarry overnight and climb on the Sunday too, although the basecamp will only be there on Saturday.
