Help clean up your favourite nature spot, earn a delicious barbecue lunch and enjoy a rewarding afternoon of fun outdoor activities by joining the Respect the Mountains Envirotrek Clean Up in Langdale on Sunday 24 August.
Envirotrek is an event series with three focus points:
1. To deliver crucial mountain clean up hours;
2. To promote positive mountain awareness; and
3. To build community through cooperation and networking.
Respect the Mountains organises the Envirotrek Clean Up Series together with main sponsor KEEN Footwear. The combination of a clean up in the morning and adventurous activities in the afternoon make for a fun and meaningful day. After a barbecue lunch, you can choose between the following outdoor activities: canyoning, rock climbing, bushcraft and scrambling.
It is an all age event that is fun, educational and one that makes real impact in fragile mountain environments.
Costs: Adults pay £9.00, children (up to age 12) £4.50.
(afternoon activities are suitable for children age 6 and up)
