The next Sandstone Open Meeting will be held on Sunday 5 October 2014, starting at 7.00pm, at the Bowles Outdoor Centre.
All the different Sandstone outcrops and anything to do with Sandstone climbing will be on the agenda, but of particular interest will be:
· an update on the proposals to keep the toilet block and campsite open beyond November;
· the next stage of the Harrison's woodland plan;
· Sandstone erosion and the Code of Practice; and
· the access position for climbing at High Rocks.
The meeting will take place in the bar with free buffet food provided by the BMC from 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. The bar is just past the swimming pool on the other side of the track from the rocks. Take the outside staircase to the upper bar on the first floor
