The BMC Peak Area Meeting will l take place at The Maynard in Grindleford on Wednesday 28 January 2015, starting at 7.30pm.
Come along to our quarterly gathering of Peak climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC.
The area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in the Peak and rest of the country.
We will be hearing from our recently elected hill working representatives on how the first Hill Walking Working Group went; and Henry Folkard will be giving an important update on Stanage. As always there’s a lot happening in the area, and you can keep abreast of developments with the latest area newsletter.
Steve McClure: Beyond Limits
One of the world’s best rock climbers, BMC ambassador Steve McClure recounts his journey from early childhood encounters on the North York Moors right up to his most recent cutting edge sport routes.
Steve will also have copies of his autobiography available to purchase on the night.
All are welcome. Food will be provided.
