The second BMC Equity Symposium aims to empower people from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds to become outdoor leaders, and will be held in the Peak District from 15-17 May.
Equipping people with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to become outdoor leaders and role models in BAME communities is the focus of the weekend event. It is run by the BMC in partnership with Mountain Training and the Mosaic National Network.
Who is this event for?
Do you have:
· An interest in the outdoors?
· Good links and contacts in BAME communities?
· A strong desire to develop your skills to lead BAME groups in adventurous activities in the countryside?
