RESPECT THE MOUNTAINS ENVIROTREK SERIES 2015
‘GIVE BACK TO NATURE ’
Enjoy a wonderful day in nature. With a delicious BBQ lunch, a great
afternoon full of fun outdoor activities, and a morning filled with a litter
collection from our local environment all for just £10.
ON THE 24TH OF MAY, ENVIROTREK NORTH WALES WILL TAKE
PLACE AT PADARN ADVENTURES IN LLANBERIS, WALES.
It is an all age event that is fun, educational and one that makes real
impact in fragile mountain environments. Organised together with KEEN
Footwear and supported by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly and Bergans of Norway,
Envirotrek North Wales is organised by Padarn Adventures along with the
assistance of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management, Cyngor Gwynedd
Council, Wise Network, RAW Adventures and The Heights.
The programme will kick off at 9.30am, with participants collecting rubbish
from our local environment. Group leaders are allocated and all
participants will be provided with cleaning and safety equipment and fully
briefed with a safety talk. The Clean Up finishes at around 12.30pm, with
everyone being rewarded for their mornings’ efforts with a delicious bbq
lunch, provided by The Heights, Llanberis. Participants get to spend the
remainder of the afternoon enjoying a range of fun outdoor pursuits.
Incuding High Ropes, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle boarding
or a workshop by ecologist Jim Langley. There will even be a chance
to win some great prizes including KEEN footwear and gifts for the best
or most interesting rubbish found, with the days event closing at approximately
4pm.
