Join us for a walk in the Yorkshire Dales on Sunday 12 July 2015.
The walk up Ingleborough (724m) is being organised by BMC Yorkshire Area Hill Walking Rep Paul Redding, and we plan to have a local expert accompany us, to talk about the flora, geology, landscape and local history.
Meet in the car park of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Centre in Clapham for a 10am start.
Please bring appropriate walking gear and provisions – the walk is likely to take 4-5 hours and it’s usually windy on top!
All are welcome, but under-18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
If you are interested in attending, please email Paul at paul@reddingweb.co.uk for further details and so that we know what numbers to expect.
New to hill walking?
New Hill Walkers is a great introduction for those who are relatively or completely new to the activity of hill walking, and this 28-page BMC booklet is free to download.
