Join Alan Hinkes for an evening on the world’s highest mountains, at the Playhouse Theatre, Preston on Wednesday 21 October

Alan is the first, and only, Briton to climb the world’s highest mountains (the fourteen summits above 8,000 metres), gaining a deep insight into the geography of the Himalaya and Karakorum.

Come along and hear of his ascents and adventures.

Event hosted by the North West Region of the Royal Geographical Society, but is open to all.

Tickets: £8 on the door (students £4.00).

7.00pm (drinks) for 7.30pm-9.30pm.
