The Buxton Adventure Festival presents National Geographic Adventurer of the Year Alastair Humphreys, supported by Dean “Deano” Dunbar, a registered blind adrenaline junkie.
Alastair Humphreys is a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. He will share his experiences from adventures as varied as cycling round the world, rowing across the Atlantic, walking the Empty Quarter, as well as his quirky "microadventures" that help show adventure is accessible to anyone, wherever they live.

Supporting Alistair is Dean “Deano” Dunbar. Since 1998, he has taken on over 80 challenges around the world and set almost 20 world firsts. Hear how Deano gets his fix and how his limited sight makes things just a little bit more exciting.
