To launch a new exhibition about Joe Tasker’s mountaineering and literary legacy, John Porter will give a free lecture at Ushaw College, Durham on Saturday 25 June.

Enjoy a lecture from acclaimed mountaineer and award-winning author John Porter, then explore the first exhibition to focus on pioneering mountaineer Joe Tasker's life and literary legacy.

The Mountain Heritage Trust, Durham University Department of English Studies, and Ushaw College are delighted to invite you to attend the launch of this exhibition, which has been made possible by grant support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
