As part of the Buxton Adventure Festival, record-breaking ultrarunner Jasmin Paris will talk about how she prepares to take on some of the world’s toughest running challenges, at the Pavilion Arts Centre in Buxton on Wednesday 11 January 2017.
Jasmin has been breaking records left, right and centre recently. In 2016, she set new female records for all three of the classic British fell running challenges: the Bob Graham Round in the Lake District; the Ramsay Round in the Scottish Highlands; and the Paddy Buckley Round in Snowdonia. On top of that, she also holds the overall record for the Ramsay Round and the overall record time for all three rounds combined.

Jasmin will talk about her record-breaking achievements and the preparation she undertakes before any big race – including training and nutrition – as well as how the runs actually worked out on the day. She will also take a look back at getting into fell running and fitting everything around a busy schedule.
