Volunteers are needed to help with scrub clearance at The Cuttings on Portland on Saturday 14 January 2017 - come and lend a hand.
This popular Dorset winter crag is in need of some de-vegetation. The plan is to repeat the clearance of bushes and brambles (last done about ten years ago) and to burn off the waste.
Hand tools and gloves will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own, if they have them.
Anyone wishing to help out should come along to the crag for 10am and make themselves known to local BMC access reps Neal Heanes or Marti Hallett.
A safety briefing will be held prior to commencing the work, which is being undertaken with the full blessing and co-operation of the landowners and Natural England.
