This meet provides an opportunity for prospective club members to see how a meet works and to get to know the club, and will be held in the Froggatt area over the weekend of 12-14 May 2017.
The Pinnacle Club is a UK-based club of women climbers who are united by a shared enthusiasm for climbing. The club runs two open meets during the year. Prospective members are welcome on all meets, but this is a good place to start. The main criteria is that you must be able to safely lead climbs at whatever level you climb at, so this is not a club for beginners. It's a friendly meet where members mix with guests and share climbing.
The meet will be based at the Bob Downes hut, the Climbers’ Club hut located in the woods below Froggatt Edge.
The other 2017 Open Meet will be held over the weekend of 15-17 September at the Pinnacle Club hut in Snowdonia.
