The June meeting of the BMC Lakes Area will be held at Grange Old School, the Climbers’ Club hut in Borrowdale on Wednesday 7 June 2017, starting at 7.30 pm. As it’s the summer meeting, we’ll have a barbecue too (weather permitting!); food will be available from 7.00 pm.
Come along to our quarterly gathering of Lakes climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC.
BMC area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in the Lakes as well as the rest of the country.
Discussion topics will include: Cumbria Bolt Fund developments: yellow paint on mountain bike trails; composting toilets at crags; and the proposed lease of Glenridding Common to the John Muir Trust.
All are welcome.
