Come and join local BMC volunteers on a picturesque Yorkshire Dales walk, taking in the BMC’s recent land acquisition, Crookrise Crag, on Sunday 24 September 2017.
Earlier this year, the BMC purchased Crookrise, a nationally-important grit crag in Yorkshire, to protect future access for climbers and walkers.

Meeting at Skipton Bus Station at 10.00 am (making it easy for those without cars to join us), we will walk to Cracoe via Crookrise, returning to Skipton by bus.
The walk should be about 12km/7.5miles and a leisurely 4 or 5 hours. If we have time there may be be a pub and/or teashop stop at the end of the walk in Cracoe.
Please come prepared with your appropriate outdoor gear and packed lunch, as the route will be over moorland that can be boggy in places.
Under 18s are welcome provided they are to be directly supervised at all times on the day by their parent or legal guardian who will take full responsibility for their care and welfare throughout.
Please do not bring dogs along as they are not allowed on the Bolton Abbey Estate.
