The BMC Peak Area Meeting will take place at The Maynard in Grindleford on Wednesday 22 November 2017, starting earlier than usual at 6.30pm (food from 6.00pm).
Come along to our next gathering of Peak climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC.
BMC area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in your area as well as the rest of the country. The November meeting is also the area AGM, and will include elections for various volunteer roles.

The Maynard website
Road works will affect access for anyone travelling from Sheffield (via the Fox House):
The B6521 north (uphill) of the Maynard is currently closed for road works. Anyone approaching from Sheffield (via the Fox House) will need to allow an extra 10-15 minutes for their journey, and loop round to the west via Hathersage.
From Hathersage take the B6001 (Station Road) to Grindleford. At Grindleford, turn left on to the B6521 through the village, over the river and up the hill to the Maynard.
