The BMC Cymru Mid Wales Area Meeting will be held at The White Lion Hotel in Machynlleth on Wednesday 25 October 2017, starting at 7.30pm.
Come along to our next gathering of local climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC.
BMC area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in your area as well as the rest of the country.
New access proposals for Wales
One of the main discussion points will be the Welsh Government consultation paper on “Taking Forward Wales’ Sustainable Management of Natural Resources” – see BMC calls members to support New Access for Wales
Hard Rock: a tribute to Ken Wilson
Featuring never-seen-before interview footage with Ken describing just why he was so passionate about British trad climbing, reconstructions of his early climbing adventures and Steve McClure, Calum Muskett and Michaela Tracey climbing three iconic routes, this film is a 20-minute trad treat.
All are welcome; food will be provided by the BMC.
