The BMC Cymru North Wales Area Meeting will take place at Plas y Brenin on Wednesday 22 November 2017, starting at 7.00pm (food from 6.30pm).
Come along to our regular gathering of BMC Cymru North Wales members and get involved in the work of the BMC.
BMC area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in your area, as well as the rest of the country.
The November meeting is also the North Wales area AGM, the first for North Wales as a fully constituted area; as such volunteers are sought for several positions (a full list is available in the agenda). If you would like to put yourself forward or nominate someone then please get in touch with area chair Kate Worthington via info@raw-adventures.co.uk prior to the meeting. For descriptions of the elected volunteer roles, see the Guide to Area Meetings for BMC Area Officers & Representatives
Organisational Review: report and recommendations
The independent Organisational Review Group’s interim report will be published prior to the November round of BMC area meetings, which will provide an important opportunity for members to discuss the group’s findings and provide feedback to help shape the group’s final recommendations, which will go to a vote at the BMC AGM in April 2018.

BMC representation on Mountain Training England
Mountain Training England (MTE) is proposing that the BMC reduces its number of voting members from four to one on MTE’s Council, achieving voting parity with MTE’s other member organisations.
