The BMC London & South East Area Meeting will take place at The Old King's Head, Borough, central London on Thursday 6 September 2018, starting at 7.00pm.
Come along to our next gathering of climbers and walkers in the South East and get involved in the BMC.
Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally.
BMC Implementation Group Update
The group set up by the National Council to provide an oversight of work required to take forward organisational change in the BMC has published a report (attached) outlining the group’s principles and how it will undertake its work in consultation with BMC members.
The evening also includes a guest speaker, a bar and food, so it should be a great night out.
Leon McCarron talk: 1,000 miles on foot through the heart of the Middle East
Guest speaker for the evening is adventurer, filmmaker and author Leon McCarron.
In December 2015, Leon set off from Jerusalem on a five-month-long journey which took him through the rolling green hills and terraced olive groves of the West Bank; the deep chasm-like wadis and ancient kingdoms of Jordan; and the vast, rugged deserts of the Sinai peninsula.
Follow Leon on Twitter.
All are welcome; food will be provided by the BMC.
