Area Meeting
The BMC Lakes Area Meeting will take place at the George Starkey Hut in Patterdale on Wednesday 6 June 2018, starting at 7.30pm (refreshments from 7.00pm). As it’s the summer meeting, we’ll have a barbecue too (weather permitting!).

Come along to our next gathering of Lake District climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.

Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally.

This meeting provides the last opportunity before the BMC AGM on 16 June for members to get together and discuss the AGM resolutions and nominations.

#YourBMC: It's time to vote!
Don't let your AGM vote go to waste. To ensure we’re in the best shape for future challenges, we’re asking all our members to vote on a new constitution. This year, you can cast your vote online. Find out more here.

Key agenda items will include: Raven Crag; Langdale accident on descent route; discussion on make safe issues lead by James Bumby and Max Biden.

All are welcome; food will be provided by the BMC, available from 7.00pm.
