Join us to celebrate the BMC’s newest crag acquisition on Saturday 2nd June.
The BMC purchased Crookrise Crag last year, to protect future access. Nestled high above Embsay, it’s a moorland gritstone gem worth showing off, so that’s what we’re going to do.
Pick up some tips from BMC Ambassador Steve McClure who will be working his way through the crag’s classic blocs on a bouldering circuit that anyone can join him on.
Find some hidden tokens on routes and problems which can be exchanged later on in the Elm Tree Inn in Embsay, where we will also be putting on a slideshow and buffet.
We’ll be setting off up the hill at 10am from Embsay Reservoir car park (grid ref. SD998554) and heading to the pub at 7pm, but feel free to join in at any time – the more the merrier!
