The BMC Midlands Area Meeting will be held at the Old Edwardians Sports Club in Solihull on Wednesday 12 September 2018, starting at 8.00pm.
Come to Solihull for our next gathering of Midlands climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally.
BMC Implementation Group Update
The group set up by the National Council to provide an oversight of work required to take forward organisational change in the BMC has published a report (attached) outlining the group’s principles and how it will undertake its work in consultation with BMC members.
PRESENTATION: A winter traverse of Mount Toubkal
John Edwards will recount how the idea of a long weekend in Morocco led to 27 West Bromwich Mountaineering Club members summiting the highest peak in North Africa in winter (presentation rescheduled from April).
All are welcome. Food will be provided by the BMC, and the club has a licensed bar.
