After the last hugely successful BMC NE Festival of 2017, we're back for another weekend of NE action! It will take place on the 2nd weekend in May of next year - this time in Northumberland. It promises to be a great weekend of Walking, Climbing, Bouldering, Eating & Drinking at Greencarts Campsite, between Hexham and Wark. We're very excited to have Mark Savage speaking at the event, with tales and photos of beautiful boulders, routes & landscapes from all over the county. Come along!
A few more specifics on the weekend: As with last year, it will run from the afternoon on Friday 10th May 2019 to the evening of Sunday 12th May 2019. There will be a free buffet on the Saturday night and hopefully some other food along the way tbc.
The price is £5 per person per night. Please bring your own alcohol/ fruit juices. Base Camp for the weekend will be a large marquee at the Campsite. As per last time, we've spent a lot of time deciding the perfect location for the event. Our choice of venue is right next to Hadrians Wall and near the Peninine Way, with crags like Crag Lough, Peel Crag, Howlerhirst, Great Wanney, West Woodburn, High Crag, Callerheus & Whiteheugh just some of the nearby options. This western side of Northumberland is one of the most beautiful and quiet locations in the UK.
