BMC members are invited to join West Bromwich Mountaineering Club on its next monthly outdoor meet to Buttermere in the Lake District on Saturday 13 April 2019.
Timings, drop-offs and pick-up points
The luxury coach with on-board facilities will leave Edward Street car park in West Bromwich (postcode B70 8HU) at 06.45am prompt; please note this is a little earlier than normal. A large car park enables all-day parking (£4) if anyone wants to leave a car.
There will be a further pick-up at 7.05am at Penkridge High Street.
There will be a short coffee break en route at Charnock Richard Services on the M6.
There will be four drop- off points at:
Keswick A66 roundabout
Braithwaite
Lanthwaite Green Car Park
Buttermere Village Centre
Pick-up points coming back will be at Buttermere Village Centre and Keswick Coach Station.
The coach will arrive back in West Bromwich at around midnight.
Cost
Fares are £22 for guests, £8 for under-16s and full-time students.
Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Experience, equipment and conditions
If anyone is unsure of map reading skills why not come along and join some of the club’s experienced members who are always willing to accommodate.
Weather can change very quickly in the mountains, so please ensure that you have the correct walking gear; if unsure please ask and we will inform on the basic equipment required to make your day enjoyable. See attached list of ideal requirements to make your day enjoyable. Obviously we are aware that not everyone has such items so please inform if help required.
