BMC members are invited to join a peer-led walk around the Crowden Horsehoe delivered by BMC North West Area volunteers on Sunday 3 July 2022.
We will take the Pennine Way from Crowden up to the summit of Black Hill (582m), returning over Tooleyshaw Moor. There are great views of the moors and surrounding hills.
There has been a lot of excellent conservation work in this area, restoring peatland vegetation, which will be good to observe.
This walk is open to BMC members and accompanying friends, over 18.
Dogs are not allowed, as the route is mainly on Access Land with local restrictions.
