Help to preserve Snowdonia’s upland environment by joining a team of BMC volunteers carrying out conservation work in association with the National Trust on 29 & 30 June 2022.
Work may involve path maintenance, drainage projects, stepping stones, vegetation clearance or cairn-scattering, depending on number of volunteers and weather conditions at the time, and will be led by the local National Trust Rangers. It is hoped that we will be working on the Watkin Path up Snowdon.
Volunteers will attend both days ideally. Accommodation is available in a National Trust bunkhouse near Beddgelert for the nights of 28,29 & 30 June. Maximum number of volunteers 16.
Who can take part?
Adults only (older than 18). No dogs, sorry!
Interested?
Please contact BMC volunteer Steve Charles to register via stevecharles25@gmail.com.
Places will be allocated on first come first served basis, and priority given to those able to come for both days of the project.
