The BMC Yorkshire Area Meeting will be held in the Garden Room at The Wheatley Arms in Ben Rhydding on Monday 13 June 2016, starting at 7.30pm
Come along to our regular gathering of Yorkshire climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC. The evening includes a discussion of local and national issues, a bar and food, so it should be a good night out.
BMC area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in your area as well as the rest of the country.
Andy Houseman talk
Guest speaker for the evening is Andy Houseman, The North Face athlete, climber, alpinist, skier and truck driver. Andy will give a talk and slideshow about his first ascent of Link Sar West (6938m), on the eastern end of the Pakistan Karakoram, which Andy climbed last year with Jon Griffith.

Cotswold Outdoor will also have a display of equipment and clothing at the meeting.
All are welcome. Food will be provided.
The venue is very convenient for the local railway station on the Leeds to Ilkley line.
