The BMC Cymru South Wales Area Meeting will take place at Swansea University (Bay Campus) on Sunday 11 February 2018, starting at 7.00pm.
Come along to Swansea for our next gathering of South Wales climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally.
BMC Organisational Review
Discussions will continue on the recommendations of the independent organisational review group (ORG) following consideration of feedback provided by members since the group’s report was published in November. A briefing paper (attached) has been published by the ORG for discussion at the January / February round of area meetings.

A group of current and past key BMC Cymru volunteer post-holders recently met to consider the BMC Organisational Review Group’s recommendations/proposals regarding the operation and structure of the BMC in Wales. You can read the notes from that meeting in the attached document.

Where is Swansea University Bay Campus, and where on the campus is the meeting room?
The meeting will be held in the Great Hall (building no.6 on the attached campus map) in room GH022, which is on the ground floor to the left of the building entrance.
Parking: All parking on the campus is Pay and Display. There is a car park to the left of the main entrance, marked P1 on the campus map.
