Sandstone Volunteers Group

About This Group

In the densely populated South East, Southern Sandstone is the only climbable rock close to London. The crags are probably the most heavily used in the country. The Sandstone Volunteers Group organises work meets to help to maintain the crags in the area. The SVG also has two formal open meetings each year to discuss upcoming projects and issues of concern to local climbers - minutes for these meetings can be found under the 'documents' tab on this page.
