The annual general meeting, which is more far more fun than it sounds.Top of the bill is the forthcoming BMC Fun Day and AGM on Saturday November 24th at the Beacon Climbing Centre featuring: reduced entry to climb for BMC members, a series of FREE workshops in the afternoon, AGM and ordinary meeting at 6.00 p.m. with free food and a lecture by BMC head honcho Dave Turnbull about his Himalayan exploits with Mick Fowler last year. The BMC (British Mountaineering Council) is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers, including ski-mountaineers.
