An expert panel of the world's top mountaineers discusses the events leading up to the recent
avalanche that claimed the lives of 16 climbing Sherpas on Mount Everest, and what this means
for the future of Himalayan climbing and the economy of Nepal.
Panelists include: Doug Scott, CBE - the father of alpine-style mountaineering, and the first Briton to summit Mt. Everest; Rebecca Stephens, the first British woman to summit Everest and Chair of the Himalayan Trust UK; Ed Douglas, journalist and author of Chomolungma Sings the Blues and Tenzing: Hero of Everest, Simon Lowe of Jagged Globe and Dawa Steven Sherpa.
The discussion will be chaired by dZi Foundation Nepal Country Director, Ben Ayers.
