The BMC North West Area Meeting and AGM will be held on Monday 24th November 2014, starting at 7:30pm at the Black Dog, Belmont.
Please note that the AGM has been brought forward because of the resignation of the chairman. New nominations for chair will be needed if we are to function properly.
Come along to our gathering of North West climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues, get involved in the work of the BMC and elect a new committee for next year. All are welcome.
Topics of particular note so far (apart from the AGM) are the issue of the new Lancs bouldering guide and the invitation to select an area representative for the new hillwalking working group. There will also be a discussion of recent hold chipping. If there are any other topics you wish to have discussed please let us know.
As usual, sandwiches and chips will be provided by the BMC so it should bea good night out. With a decent turnout it will provide a good opportunity to meet up with some mates and bully one of them into being the next chairperson.
