Help ease access tensions at Ruthin Escarpment (Pwllglas Rocks) by climbing and tidying on Saturday 16 May.
Clwyd Mountaineering Club are organising a tidy-up and climb meet on and around Ruthin Escarpment, with the aim of improved access through a stronger relationship with the landowner.
The owner is happy for climbers to use the crag, but his insurance company apparently is suggesting otherwise. Please help us to demonstrate the BMC ethos of personal and environmental responsibility by joining us in a brief tidy-up, before exploring and climbing this interesting and diverse crag.
Meet at the crag on Saturday 16 May at 10.30am.

Directions:
From Ruthin take the A494 south to Bala and Corwen. After around three miles the village of Pwllglas is entered. Park immediately in a large layby on the left. Walk about 100m back along the road and take the smaller road on the right. This road drops down, along the side of the river and over a bridge. Then climb uphill around a couple of bends to end at a large house. Just before the large house, take a footpath on the right and, after 30m, go right again on another path. The crag can now be seen up on the left. Various paths lead up to the cliff.
