The BMC London & South East Area Meeting will take place at The Old King's Head, Borough, central Londonon on Thursday 21 November 2019, starting at 7.00pm.
Come to our next gathering of climbers and walkers in the South East and get involved in the BMC.
Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally, and to meet like-minded people and enjoy a sociable night out.
The November meeting is also the Area AGM, so elections for various volunteer roles will take place.
Meeting agenda and additional information will be made available nearer the meeting date.
Guest speaker for the evening is Jesse Dufton
Jesse is an avid climber and a member of the GB Paraclimbing Team in the Visually Impaired category, B1. However, it is Jesse’s climbing on rock and ice which makes him unique. Jesse leads “trad” routes which involves him placing his own protection by feel as he leads the way. He is most well known for his adventurous on-sight of the Old Man of Hoy in Scotland in June this year.
