This year the BMC access conference will look at how we can influence positive behaviour in the outdoors in order to continue to care for the places we love, and will take place in Manchester on Thursday 14 November.

The conference will focus on a range of issues that are currently affecting the places and landscapes we love to visit from litter, wild fires and parking, to wild camping and pooing in the great outdoors.

We will explore how changing peoples’ behaviour and highlighting these concerns can help minimise the impact we have on the places we love and conserve them for future generations.

The outcomes of the conference will feed into the new version of the BMC’s influential Green Guide to the Uplands which provides guidance on responsible practice on a wide range of topics.

The registration fee for the conference is just £25 per delegate for BMC members (£40 for non-members).
BMC membership costs just £19.97 for the first year when you sign up by Direct Debit.
