The BMC Lakes Area Meeting & AGM will take place at the Lyon Equipment offices in Old Tebay on Wednesday 19 October 2022, starting at 7.30pm, with a tour of the factory offered prior to the meeting.
Come to our next gathering of Lakes climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area Meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally. All are welcome.
The factory tour will commence at 6.30pm.
The meeting will discuss proposals for guidance on the use of fixed equipment on BMC Lakes Area crags and quarries - see attached document.
AREA AGM
The October meeting is also the 2022 Area AGM, and will include elections for various Area volunteer roles – there is a vacancy for the role of Area Secretary.
