The BMC South West Area Meeting will be held online on Zoom on Tuesday 9 May 2023, starting at 7.00pm.
Come to our next virtual gathering of South West climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area Meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally. All are welcome.
Avon Gorge Fixed Equipment Policy Review
The meeting will include discussion of a new fixed equipment policy for Avon Gorge – please see the attached documents for background information. A consultation is in progress, and we would like to hear from you about:
- What the policy should contain;
- Whether you think the current policy is unclear (and if so, what needs to be made clearer);
- Whether (or not) there should be any substantial changes in the policy.
