Outdoors for All
Several campaigns have been emerging over the last few years, culminating in the launch of Outdoors For All, which is supported by the BMC and forty-one other outdoor organisations.
The Outdoors for All panel discussion will cover:
- What do the campaigners want?
- What are the likely benefits to climbers, hillwalkers, and mountaineers?
- What are the costs and possible risks of more access?
The panellists:
Joining the panel will be Dr. Cath Flitcroft, the BMC's Senior Policy & Campaigns Manager; Lee Schofield, author of ‘Wild Fell’ and former manager of RSPB Haweswater, now heading a rewilding project in Cumbria; and Adam Briggs from the National Farmers’ Union.
Paul Ratcliffe, the new Chief Executive Officer of the BMC, will also be joining us, providing you with the chance to hear from him too.
Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session.
