The BMC North West Area Meeting will take place at Sedgley Park Rugby Club in Whitefield, north Manchester on Tuesday 10 September 2019, starting at 7.30pm (food from 7.00pm).
Come to our next gathering of North West climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally, and to meet like-minded people and enjoy a sociable night out.
The September meeting will include an update on the work of the BMC Organisational Development Group (ODG) – see attached paper. You can also have your say on the BMC Strategic Plan 2020-2024.
Guest speaker: Andrew Suter, Groundwork heritage project manager
Andrew will talk about conserving the amazing lost Rivington Terraced Gardens
All are welcome; tea, coffee, sandwiches and cake will be provided by the BMC, available from 7.00pm.
The venue has an extensive free car park and is close to the motorway network (M60, Junction 17), and about twenty minutes’ walk from the Metrolink stations at Whitefield and Besses o’ th’ Barn.
